Being in school helps me to develop techniques on how to spend my time efficiently. Sometimes I draw insperation from my friends at the most unusual situations. I ask all my friends and peers what they think of my productivity and ask them what I can do better. Sometimes I get great feedback mainly when I ask my instructers and adviser at school. However an uneducated sorces can also provide valuable insperation.
Drawing inperation from the most awkward situations does help me a lot and I believe it will help me very far. I remember one time my girfriend gave me an idea on how to improve a poster that I was working on for the movie JAWS. She suggesed that I put blood in the water to make it look more scary.
First I took the picture of Lake Michican from my moble phone. Then I included the shark image using the masking feature on Photohop. I also used Photoshop's color replacement tool to implement my girlfriend's suggeston by making it look like there's blood in the water. I even put some blood on the shark's teeth. Finally I used the Liquafy filter to spike up the type for the tittle. It even looks like the shark has eaten parts of the letters.
Now, it looks too scary; even for my girlfriend. I had to let my instructer keep the printed copy because it freacked her out at night.
I may improve upon this in the feuture, which may includ a dead body in the water.
